Jamie’s Hope was founded in honor of Jamie Lynn Gilmore, a woman whose courage, resilience, and unwavering hope shaped the heartbeat of this organization. Born in the Houston area in 1982, Jamie spent most of her life navigating a rare form of cancer, Acinic Cell Carcinoma, first diagnosed at just 14 years old.

Family

Her life was defined not by illness, but by strength. After surviving pediatric cancer, Jamie built a beautiful life with her husband, Garrick Glascock, and in 2002 welcomed their miracle daughter, Mikala. Through relapses, surgeries, radiation, and the unexpected challenges that came with long-term treatment, Jamie continued to live fully, balancing motherhood, partnership, and a thriving professional career.
