Wanted to say thank you to the Grainger Foundation for our first Angel Tree Grant!!!! This year we doubled our families, so next year I can only imagine what the future holds for Angel Tree (exciting)!!! So thankful for corporations that have giving programs that make what we do possible!!!!!! Also thank you to Nancy Smith, one of my best friends, adopted into my family (lol) and with Jamie’s Hope from day 1. She has been by my side through EVERYTHING while I have fought cancer and don’t know where I would be without her. Her dad also passed away from cancer. Some great news on Bob Allen! #KickCancersAss #GetWellBob: “Once again, thanks again for your many thoughts and prayers, as I’m coming down the home stretch of this cage match with lymphoma.All signs are pointing to lymphoma tapping out. Got great news late last week. I’m in total remission! In a few weeks I check into MD Anderson for a stem cell transplant. The type of lymphoma I had has a tendency to recur, but the transplant gives me a complete new immune system, which could likely be a complete cure. I’m ready to get in there to finish this off. I have been overwhelmed and grateful for y’all reaching out with positive thoughts and prayers.That along with a great team of doctors at MDA, along with belief that this won’t beat me has done wonders. Had a great Thanksgiving with my daughter, son in law and two amazing grandkids coming in, along with the rest of family & new extended family.Thanks again for caring, & I’ll be seeing you soon.” Photo below is from our Masquerade for a Cure event program...
