Dang it… Forgot the #Selfie stick! About to get bad results frown emoticon My doctor called when I was about to fly to the Bahamas and wanted me to get home asap after last PET scan. Stress is a killer, that’s the main thing that has really effected me the last 2 months, lost a lot of motivation during stressful times. Now time to get super focused again, really remove a anything stressful and back to Cognitive Therapy too!!!...

Sometimes We Forget
Often times we focus on the person battling cancer and forget about their loved ones who support them day in & day out. Life is never as it once was. It’s a hard reality to face and can easily crush anyone who has to “stay strong” and fight the battle along side. It’s a job no one ever thinks is going to happen but when it does, they’re there to pick up the pieces. Unless you’ve been in that position, you’ll never truly appreciate what they do. Jamie’s husband, Garrick, is one of those people. For 3 solid years, his beautiful wife has been battling Acinic Cell Carcinoma (not to mention the multiple occurrences, surgeries & radiation treatments in the past). The grueling days and nights have been relentless. It has been a battle no one anticipated & everything about their life has changed. Luckily, Jamie has been able to take the last 7 months off of chemo by taking on another full-time job of juicing, vitamin infusions (& much more) which has helped her physically have more energy to do some of the things they used to… as well as work on their bucket list items! Unfortunately life has taken another swing to the gut & earlier this month, Garrick’s mother, “Gramee” (pictured) was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I honestly don’t know how he’s coping with all of this on top of everything else he has on his shoulders. Please just join me in praying for Garrick & all of the family and friends of those battling on the front lines of cancer. Pray for strength, peace...Traveling with Cancer. Call me crazy….
So call me crazy but one thing I have refused to know over the years is what stage cancer I have. I have never asked, didn’t want to know, always avoided information about learning about staging, maybe in denial…. Yesterday I got the staging education in my mother-in-laws appointment and learned I am Stage 4 frown emoticon However after thinking about it, I was Stage 4 when I had cancer at 23 years old over 10 years ago when it first moved to my bones, so technically I am seriously defying the ODDS!!!!!!! ~ Jamie #JamiesHope #Cancer #CancerFreeWay #Stage4 #StageIV #Odds...

Destin, Mindfulness & Metal Detecting!! #Destin here I come with my new metal detector!!!! After accomplishing a #BucketList item and loving it, I bought a metal detector. Can’t wait to get out on the #beach!!!! Now hoping to find treasures to pay for the new #Minelab #CTX3030!!!!! Will post pics later of my finds which better not be trash, lol!! FYI….. Getting rich with my metal detector over the weekend!!!!! Or not…..lol!! Found pennies, a penny-like coin (not sure what it is) coke can tabs, and other trash. However, I only went hunting for maybe 2 hours so can’t wait to get back out now that I was just starting to get the hang of it!!!!!!! I was in another world which is great for your health when you can get your mind off of all the normal everyday stress & issues in life. Looking forward to going back out again with a metal detector!!!!! Garrick’s hobby was his #Revo #rccar and our daughter #seashellhunting (I also love seashell hunting). Traffic sucks!!! Flying cooler & smashed smoothies :(
Had to slam on my brakes on #Beltway8 and my cooler went flying accross the car breaking my #smoothies inside!!! Soooo annoying!!! Thank god I don’t have to deal with traffic much, it’s literally bad for your health! There are so many studies that talk about how much it effects our health in a negative way. So…I went a little crazy with my #selfie stick yesterday and have a FEW pics (lol)… Going to start from the beginning of my day with my arrival at #Wildcat where Wendy Martin / #MakeupByWendy met me to help make me feel extra beautiful for the day by doing my makeup!!!! smile emoticon Then Darla Guyton / #GuytonPhotography met up with me to be my golf cart buddy for the day. Love having her help me interact with everybody all day, lot or people don’t know I am actually really shy but she does a great job of getting me out to meet everybody!! Both of these two ladies have been with #JamiesHope from the beginning and I am so thankful to have them on my team. They have been with me through so many hard times when I was really struggling with self esteem from all the side effects of chemotherapy. They always did a great job of getting me through it and making me feel more confident smile emoticon ~...

2:45 AM IV C before today’s golf tournament!!
Had to schedule my IV C treatment in the middle of the night due to our golf tournament today. Hooked up, now back to bed!!!!! Takes 4 hours, so they will be back again at 6:45 am to unplug me and then off to Wildcat for the tournament!!!!!!! ~ Jamie
Trying to get my hair to GROW!!!! Shopping for health products at Moveable Feast
My hair is being stubborn, lol. On a mission to make it grow. Picked up a few products to try at #MoveableFeast . Some of the stuff I will be experimenting with: #SuperGrow Hair Gel , #Botanigel Hair Builder , #Biotene H-24 and #AloeVera Organic Oil. Mom Duties last night!!!!
So thankful for every little moment that IV C and my crazy #cancerfreeway health regimen has given me my life back!!! The little things.. like taking her to get a hair cut, getting inside rides she is too big for (lol), helping her with a science project, etc….. Just months ago I would have struggled to do any of these and I am so thankful for my health, being able to share the little moments with her and feeling good for the first time in years!!!!!!! ~...
